In a few words...

This is a rare 1939 Plymouth Custom Sedan Touring 4D unit in superior condition, partial restoration (not a frame off), the engine and undercarriage (frame) were untouched and ungreased, you can see that this car is very sane with only light surface rust.  Two repairs were done on the body (metal, not bondo): a small hole in the truck corner and the battery case (see picture of undercarriage).  The chrome parts were restored, the stainless moldings are in excellent plus condition but the "white metal & zinc alloy" were pitting and have only been polished since it is hard to refinish (welding) without breaking them for rechroming.  Pieces are pictured in the flaws section: door handles, hood handles, hood top front moulding, hood side grill...

The car is exceptionnally straight, engine runs smoothly and transmission shifts as it should, no mechanical issues, no leaks, looks just great, very smooth driver, perfect wedding car with suicide doors for the bride's dress.

PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment terms will be discussed with winner bidder (bank wire is the fastest and easiest option). Of course, serious bidders only. Full payment before shipping the vehicule. I like to keep my customers happy as you can tell by my feedback profile. The car is not mine, I am a broker and I take care of all the paperwork, payment and "smooth" transaction process.

All sales are FINAL, can't take it back to Canada (too much troubles and too expensive!). You can come over and inspect the car if you wish though, we have a local airport (YQB) and I can pick you up.   I sold 23 cars on eBay now and everything went smoothly.  I can give references if requested.

CUSTOM, EPA & DOT STUFF

Custom fee is about 600$US for the paperwork and that's it.

On the EPA (Environment Protection Agency) and DOT (Department of Transportation) side, the rules are a little different for car "25 years +" and my broker handles the paper for that so the import process will be quite easier.

I will have all the paperwork prepared and you won't have to get your own custom broker.   I take care of everything.  All you have to add to your winning bid is shipping (if you don't come up to drive it back home), your State Federal tax (at your licence bureau when you get the titles) and the customs (if it applies).  The car is ready to go... papers process can take about 1 to 2 weeks depending on how fast you want the car and payment arrives (bank wire is the fastest option).

SHIPPING TERMS

Shipping a car from Quebec (Canada) to Virginia is about 900$US, to Florida, around 1400$US and to California would be more around 2200$US depending on the location, FULLY INSURED of course. I usually ship in a closed trailer van whenever I can and if requested.  If you have a carrier of your own, we can work that out too... or you can pick it up.  Again, payment and shipping terms will be discussed with winning bidder... If you do not intend to complete the transaction, please do not place a bid. GOOD LUCK !

Want to save a few $$$?

You can pick it up and trailer it back home; getting a temp plate would not be possible unless you pay our provincial tax (7.5%) and get an appraisal on the car so the trailer is a much better option.  That way you can see the car and inspect it, save on customs brokerage and transport as well.  The cheapest option is to rent a full size trailer with Uhaul locally (in Quebec City) and dump it at your local Uhaul center... about 120$US, you need a 5000 pounds hitch on your pick-up truck.  We are in Quebec City, Province of Quebec, Canada.
